10 stress reliever food



To cope with stress, you can tell people you trust, participate in social activities, and meditation or yoga. In addition, you can also eat some foods that are believed to relieve stress.
Some foods that are considered to relieve stress include:
1. Asparagus
Stress is associated with low levels of folic acid. Asparagus is one of vegetables that can increase folic acid. This food is very good when processed by steaming, because the nutrients that are in it is still awake.
2. Avocado
Anxiety can occur due to vitamin B deficiency. Avocado is one of the fruit rich in vitamin B. Eating avocado can help relieve stress, as well as maintaining healthy nerves and brain cells. Avocados also contain good fats and potassium which help lower blood pressure. 
3. Blueberry
The size of this one fruit is small, but a handful of blueberries are very rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. When the body is stressed, they can repair and protect the body cells.
4. Almon
Almonds contain vitamin B2 and E. Both of these vitamins can help boost the immune system during stress.
5. Milk
Milk contains high antioxidants, vitamins B2 and B12, and protein and calcium. Protein in milk has a calming effect by lowering blood pressure. A glass of warm milk before bed can be a good intake to overcome insomnia and feelings of anxiety.
6. Salmon
Salmon is one source of foods rich in omega-3, which can help maintain levels of the hormone cortisol and adrenaline in the body.
7. Orange
Vitamin C in oranges can help lower blood pressure and cortisol hormone levels. To get the benefits of vitamin C, eat one whole fruit or drink a glass of unsweetened orange juice.
8. Oatmeal
Consumption of oatmeal can cause the brain to produce serotonin. Serotonin not only has antioxidant properties, it also creates a sense of calming that helps cope with stress. Studies have shown that children who eat oatmeal for breakfast are more able to concentrate throughout the morning.
9. Green tea
Green tea can protect the body against several types of cancer, while improving mental performance. You can drink two cups of green tea daily without sugar.
10. Chocolate
Many facts reveal, chocolate is included in the list of healthy foods that have a relationship with mood. Dark chocolate can lower blood pressure and increase feelings of calm, because it contains more polyphenols and flavonoids.
When stress strikes, consume some of the food above. But if all these foods are not able to relieve your stress, immediately consult a psychologist or psychiatrist.
